PLAY DOUGH

1 c. Flour
1 c. Water
1/2 c. Salt
1 T. Cream of Tarter
1 T. Oil
Food Coloring

Combine all ingredients. Stir until lumps are all gone. Begin to cook until Play Dough ball up. Remove and knead. Place in a zip lock bag.

FINGER PAINT

1/2 c. Liquid Starch
Food Coloring or Poster Paint

Mix a few drops of food coloring or poster paint into starch. Stir, then begin to paint with fingers. Use butter tubs for storage. Shiny paper works best for this paint.

SLIME
1/2 c. Cornstarch
1/4 c. Water

Mix and store in butter tubs. You may want to add food coloring as desired to the water.

SILLY PUTTY*

1 c. White Glue
1/2 c. Liquid Starch
Food Coloring
A Pinch of Salt

Add coloring to the liquid starch. Add glue and stir until thickened. Knead completely until mixed. Mixture should be solid but stretchy. Add a few drops of starch or glue to adjust the mixture to the right texture.

*Use smocks and care when children assist in making this, as it does not come out of clothes.
