Your group may pick one or more of these kits to put together for our kids. We need at least 35 of each kit.
Hygiene
Bag 1:
Bathing: bar of soap, washrag, small container of baby powder (3 oz)
Bag 2:
Germs: package of tissues, small bottle of hand sanitizer, bar of soap
Bag 3:
Bathroom hygiene: roll of toilet paper, bar of soap, pair of underwear or pull-up
Bag 4:
Dental hygiene: toothbrush, toothpaste, pair of pretend teeth (Halloween)
Bag 5:
Hair/Grooming: shampoo, hairbrush, comb/pic, Blue Magic grease found at Walmart, CVS or hair supply store - small tube ($1.00)
Personal Safety
Bag 1:
Small plastic bracelet (personal space), play plastic telephone (911), policeman or fire fighter figure (stop, drop, roll - safe to talk to)
Social Skills
Bag 1:
Staying calm: small bubbles (wedding size), party favor size can of play dough, small clear plastic juice glass, small bottle of water
Bag 2:
Making Friends: small individual bag of food item (share), cardboard puzzle (working together), 4" x 6" piece of fake fur or fleece material (soft words), and two child-like finger puppets.
Bag 3:
Feelings: Crayons: red, blue, yellow (mad, sad and happy), smile sticker or squeeze ball with smiling face, generic "I'm good" ribbon, plastic compact mirror.
Self-Awareness
Bag 1:
Tactile: hand lotion, 5-7oz. (massage), squeeze/squish ball, silly putty or play dough
Bag 2:
Body parts: pair of socks, mittens, generic stocking cap for kids ages 2-6
Bag 3:
Face: silly straw, Burt's Lip Balm (fragrance & tingle) or flavored lip balm
