The Day Treatment Services program at The Children’s Place is a multi-disciplinary, therapeutic preschool for children birth to age 6 who have experienced child abuse, neglect or prenatal exposure to drugs and/or alcohol. Because of these circumstances, children enrolled in the program have significant developmental delays and mental health issues that prevent them from being successful in traditional childcare or preschool settings.
Children enrolled in the Day Treatment Services program benefit from a variety of services including:
