LOCAL NARI MEMBERS TO DELIVER DONATED ITEMS TO CHILDREN AT LOCAL AGENCY
Members from the local chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) will deliver donated items to children attending the Day Treatment Program at The Children’s Place at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010.
KC NARI hosted a “virtual” baby shower for the agency and encouraged all members to purchase much needed items and these items will be delivered to the staff and children who will be waiting to receive the donated and goods and load them into the building.
“We believe in the work of The Children’s Place and this was just another way for us to give back. We are excited to see the children again and have them help us get all this great stuff into their building,” says Jan Burchett, Executive Director of KC NARI.
In 2009, KC NARI adopted The Children’s Place as its local charity and has provided close to $100,000, to date, of donated goods and in-kind remodeling services.

We always say it takes a community to heal a child, particularly young survivors of abuse and neglect, and this partnership truly highlights that,” states David Matson, President & CEO of The Children’s Place.
