The Children's Place was pleased to be a part of The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah's fist Mitzvah Marketplace. This wonderful experience allowed the students from the Religious School to decide how to spend the tzedakah money that they had collected over the past several months. They learned about the different agencies in the community, including The Children's Place, and how people of all ages are helped. The event helped to teach the students the importance of tzedakah (righteous giving) and that a small donation can make a difference.
