We were very excited when the Kansas City Chapter of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association chose The Children's Place to be one of the charitable recipients of the 2006 Holiday Homes Tour. Each December for the last 55 years, the Kappas have hosted tours of Kansas City's most lovely homes decked out in holiday finery. A portion of tour proceeds benefits local non-profits each year. The holiday proceeds will be provided to the charities in the spring, but we did not want to wait to say thank you!
On December 5th and 6th, four spectacular homes in Kansas City opened their doors to the public to support Kappa Kappa Gamma's fundraising efforts. Thank you to all of the Kappas for the care and hard work they put into making this year's event so successful. We are also very grateful to the four home owners for generously opening the doors of their beautiful homes for this fundraising event: Michael & Ginger Frost, Allan & Carol Hallquist, David Jimenez and Jane Voorhees.
A heartfelt thank you to Kansas City's Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association and to all of the homeowners - you truly embody the meaning and spirit of holiday caring!
