On Halloween, the children from the Day Treatment Services program were the special guests of the employees of Bernstein-Rein Advertising. Each year Bob Bernstein, Advisor and Founding Board Member of The Children’s Place, and his staff make the most of the holiday by turning their offices into a magical trick-or-treat land.
Employees from Bernstein-Rein Advertising and students from Shawnee Mission East High School’s SHARE program made sure that Halloween was all treats and no tricks for the children of the Day Treatment program. The student volunteers, along with agency staff, helped each costume- clad child make their way from office to office. The children’s tiny voices repeatedly rang out through the hallways with the familiar “trick-or-treat” and “thank you.”
