Each October, the team from Distribution by Air/The Markin Group, Inc. turns 59th and Brookside Boulevard into a private Pumpkin Patch for the children of the Day Treatment Services program.
The children had their choice of pumpkins delivered straight from the farm, and each child took the time to carefully choose the perfect one to take home. For children in foster care, something as simple as a picture taking can be foreign; so, in addition to getting a pumpkin, each child had a picture taken with the scarecrows, which they took home with them.
