In 2006, the Brookside Mothers’ Association named The Children’s Place as the charity of choice for its community outreach activities. As an organization dedicated to bringing parents from throughout the metro area together with the common goal of raising happy, healthy families, their support of The Children’s Place is a natural fit.
For the second year in a row, the group held its annual Boo Bash Halloween Party and families were asked to bring a donation to help purchase educational software for the Day Treatment Services program. Parents took the opportunity to visit with each other while the kids, decked out in some of the cutest costumes around, enjoyed games, crafts, and live music.
