From Homeless to Harvard... an unlikely event and exhilarating story. Keynote speaker Liz Murray shares her personal journey as a young girl living in the Bronx. Born to addicted parents, homeless at 15 when her mother died, she came to the realization that life could be better than what she had endured. An inspiring example of the importance of dreaming big, her story was made into a Lifetime Television movie. Ms. Murray is the first recipient of Oprah Winfrey's Chutzpah Award and is currently writing her memoirs for Hyperion.
