If you are aware of or suspect The Children’s Place or one of its employees has violated federal and/or state law or the agency’s organizational Code of Ethics you may submit your concern in any of the following ways.

  1. Send your concern via email to concerns@childrensplacekc.org. Your email message should contain a detailed description of your concern, including names, locations, statements, and actions by the person, or people, involved. If you would like a member of the Board of Directors to follow up with you regarding your concern, please include your name and a phone number so they can reach you.
  2. Call the Compliance Telephone Hotline at 816.363.1898 ext. 1002 during office hours. After office hours, call 816.363.1898 and dial extension 1002 when the auto-attendant answers the phone. Leave a detailed message describing your concern, including names, locations, statements, and actions by the person, or people, involved. If you would like a member of the Board of Directors to follow up with you regarding your concern, please leave a name and phone number so they can reach you.

TITLE VI Compliance

The Children’s Place has a policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the ADA. The Children’s Place is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its services on the basis of race, color or national origin as protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. No person or group of persons shall be discriminated against with regard to the routing, scheduling, or quality of transportation service furnished by The Children’s Place on the basis of race, color, disability, gender identity or national origin. Any person who believes that they have, individually, or as a member of any specific class of persons, been subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, disability, gender identity or national origin may file a complaint. A complaint must be filed within 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination.
